October, November, December are the months we offer trips.
What to bring?
-shellfish license
-cooler
-rain gear & gloves for handling crab
-food and beverage of choice
What kind of boats are we crabbing out of?
We are crabbing out of a 23ft alumaweld Columbia or 27ft river wild.
What do I need to wear?
Warm clothes in rain gear, heavy duty gloves
What do I need to bring for harvest transportation?
A large cooler crab, is boiled and prepared for transportation before you depart. Make sure cooler has ice.
What license do I need?
Annual shellfish license, one day combination license. Which is what typically toolbox, shellfish license. Typically around $12.
How long does a Crab trip last?
Normally 6 to 8 hours unless limited early.

Hammond, Oregon is located about an hour and 45 minutes from Portland, Oregon or Vancouver, Washington
Crabbing in Hammond, Oregon
is a wonderful experience. It can be tough work pulling pots and dealing with the elements but the reward at the end of the day is far worth it. Delicious Dungeness crab is hard to beat and referred by some as the “true best eating crab”. This is great fun for a weekend trip, work trip or just a group of friends. Come enjoy a day on the water full of laughs and full pots.
